Occasionally you might see that Glow is showing different information about available updates than what’s being shown in WordPress; ie. Glow is not showing the correct information.
The majority of the time, this is because Glow is being blocked from accessing your client’s website for some reason.
How to fix it
The quickest fix to this situation usually, is to simply run one of the available plugin updates from within the WordPress dashboard. By doing this, it forces an update of information in Glow.
Run the update, then go back into Glow and refresh your browser. You should now see the correct, up to date information.
To be sure that this doesn’t happen again in future, try whitelisting our IP address to get around any potential block that might still be in place. Our IP address is: 18.171.1.94.
