Our Google Analytics integration allows you to show traffic information in client reports. This article explains how you set this up.
Step 1
Login to your Glow account and go to Settings > Integrations > Google Analytics.
Step 2
Click the Begin setup button at the bottom of the Google Analytics page.
Note: You’ll now be redirected back to the Glow login page. Login again and then you’ll be taken to your Google account authentication screen. Follow the setup steps here until you’re redirected back to Glow.
Step 3
Once you’ve completed the authentication steps on your Google account and you’re back in Glow, you’ll see a success message at the top of the screen, confirming your account has been connected.
Step 4
Now head to the Websites screen and find the website where you want to display Google Analytics information in client reports. Click on Reports > Settings and then open the Google Analytics accordion.
Step 5
Inside the Google Analytics accordion, you’ll see a property selector. Click this and choose the GA4 property from which you want Glow to pull information for client reports.
Click Save at the bottom of the screen.
Step 6
Now when you create or schedule reports for this client, in the Contents step of the setup process, you’ll see a new section named Website Analytics.
You can open this and then the subsequent Google Analytics accordion inside it to customise any of the information to your needs.
Glow will display the following information from Google Analytics:
- Basic traffic information:
- Users
- Sessions
- Page views
- Average sessions per day
- Average views per session
- Average time on site
- User acquisition information
- Most viewed pages
- Device information (mobile vs desktop split in traffic)
Note: You can connect multiple Google Analytics accounts to Glow. To do this after connecting your first account, head back to Settings > Integrations > Google Analytics and click the Connect another account button.
